Young Writers is looking for a passionate, hardworking individual to join our Marketing team to assist the Marketing Manager to ensure teachers, parents and kids have an amazing experience with us.

This is not a filing or photocopying admin role, it requires organisation, forward-thinking, initiative and a positive attitude as it’s fast-paced and very varied!

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Scheduling print & digital campaigns
  • Analysing & reporting on data
  • Adding content to our CMS
  • Email Creation (includes creating email templates, importing lists, setting up & reviewing campaigns through Ontraport and Mailchimp)
  • Print procurement (ensuring best prices, quality, lead times and running to schedule)
  • Prize admin (ordering, writing letters & emails, posting, press releases)
  • Organising meetings, taking notes, typing & distributing them
  • Supporting the marketing team on projects (could include creating social media posts, research, running a survey)

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO HAVE?

There are a few skills that are essential but the most important thing we’re looking for is an amazing attitude...

  • Good communication & numeric skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Can work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc)

ADDITIONAL INFO

Contract: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week) – this is an office-based role

Salary: £20-25K based on experience and skills
